In order to accommodate the changing nature of science education and to facilitate the evolving interrelationship between the traditional and newly emerging science disciplines, Gettysburg College consolidated their science programs into a new Science Center. The consolidation brings together the various science departments from obsolete, remote or shared space to a 87,000 SF science complex. This facility houses a combined program of teaching and research labs, laboratory support spaces, faculty and department offices, tiered and traditional classrooms, computer labs, and a 3,000 SF greenhouse. |
